Revolution In Our Time: The Black Panther Party’s Promise to the People
Revolution in Our Time provides a powerful learning experience for students and can be utilized in several ways. It can be read in a four- to six-week unit about the Black Panther Party. Educators can also thread chapters and sections from Revolution in Our Time to support units about chattel slavery, the Revolutionary War and the founding of America, the Civil War, the Reconstruction era, and the civil rights movement.
